Manchester United have added Swedish winger Monica Jusu Bah to their squad, snapping her up from BK Hacken.
And from her searing pace to her ambitious nature, there’s plenty for United fans to get excited about.

1) Monica Jusu Bah Cost United Just Under £400,000
Facing stiff competition from other clubs, United signed Monica Jusu Bah for just under £400,000.

The 23-year-old was under contract with BK Hacken until 2028 but has now signed with United until June 2030.
2) She’s Spent Her Whole Career in Sweden (Until Now)
Monica Jusu Bah broke through into the senior ranks at Umeå before moving to BK Hacken in 2023.
Last season, she scored 16 goals and added seven assists as Hacken won both the Damallsvenskan league title and the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.
3) She’s an Established Swedish International
The winger is an established and valued part of the national set-up, despite being only 23 years old.
She already has 11 senior caps for Sweden and played in all six of their Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this year.
4) She’s Known For Her Blistering Pace
Regarded as one of Europe’s quickest female players, Monica Jusu Bah described her speed as a big advantage during her signing interview for United.
It’s a quality that United’s director of football, Matt Johnson, also highlighted, praising her “pace, directness and the quality of her final product.”
5) She’s Excited to Work With Eva Olid
Monica Jusu Bah said the chance to work under Eva Olid was a major factor in her move.
“The opportunity to work with Eva Olid is perfect,” she said. “Everybody knows the quality of her coaching and her ability to support players to reach their highest level.”
