Arsenal have completed the signing of Switzerland international Géraldine Reuteler from Eintracht Frankfurt.
She becomes the club’s third summer capture after Georgia Stanway and Ona Batlle. Reuteler will wear the number 14 shirt at Arsenal and will be looking to make an immediate impact once pre-season begins.

1) She’s Been a Goalscorer From Day One
Born in Nidwalden in 1999, Géraldine Reuteler played youth football for FC Stans before beginning her senior career at Luzern in 2014, where she scored an impressive 28 goals in 43 league appearances.
She joined Frankfurt in 2018 and went on to make 184 appearances in all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 44 assists over eight years in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
2) She’s Been on Arsenal’s Wish-List for a While
Arsenal’s Director of Women’s Football, Clare Wheatley, described Reuteler as “a long-term target” for the club, having tracked her rise through the Bundesliga over several seasons.
3) Géraldine Reuteler Was a Star at Euro 2025
Playing on home soil at Euro 2025, Géraldine Reuteler was named Player of the Match in all three of Switzerland’s group-stage games, scoring against Iceland and assisting against Finland to help her country reach the quarter-finals of a Euros for the first time in their history.
This continued a sterling international career: she made her senior Switzerland debut back in 2017, and has since earned 91 caps and 17 goals for her country.
4) She’s an Award-Winning Footballer
Reuteler was named Switzerland’s Player of the Year in 2024, then the country’s Most Valuable Player of the Year in March 2026; further proof of her rise as one of the best players in the women’s game.
5) She Has a Love of Tattoos
Away from the pitch, Reuteler is known for her love of tattoos, and already has plenty. With new teammate Georgia Stanway also known for her own ink – and for being a tattoo artist – the two should have plenty to talk about at training!
