Mark Your Calendars: WSL Fixtures 2025/26 Are Coming Soon
The WSL season might have only just wrapped up, but weekends already feel a little emptier without it.
Luckily, there’s plenty of football on offer to bridge the gap, with the UEFA European Women’s Championship already well underway.
England kick off their Group D campaign against France at 8pm on Saturday, 4 July.
The Three Lions will be keen to defend the trophy, having famously lifted it in 2022 at Wembley, no less.
Looking ahead, we now know when the WSL fixtures for 2025/26 will be released.
Here’s what you need to know.
WSL Fixtures 2025/26: When Will They Be Announced?
The 2025/26 Women’s Super League fixtures will be released on Friday, 25 July.
WSL 2 fixtures — formerly known as the Championship — will be revealed on the same day.
Twelve teams will participate in the 2025/26 WSL season.
Promoted side London City Lionesses will join Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and, of course, reigning champions Chelsea.
The Blues were crowned WSL winners for the sixth straight year in the most recent campaign — proof indeed that their domestic dominance didn’t end with Emma Hayes’ exit.
WSL Fixtures 2025/26: Key Dates to Circle
Both tiers will get underway over the weekend of 6-7 September, 2025.
The Championship concludes on 2-3 May, 2026, while the WSL runs a fortnight later until 16-17 May.
There will be a customary winter break for each division from 22 December, with league fixtures returning on 10-11 January, 2026.
